Founder's Tribute

Our fountainhead, long-standing Managing Partner, and a Senior Advocate of the Supreme Court of Pakistan, A.M. Haidermota was one of the most esteemed legal practitioners in the country. Upon the 1971 partition of Bangladesh from Pakistan, Mr. Haidermota migrated from Dhaka to Karachi and established HMCO. In the years that followed, Mr. Haidermota, armed with his exceptional legal acumen and absolute dedication, took HMCO from strength to strength. With a view to realize his father’s vision of elevating HMCO to Pakistan’s top law Firm, Mr. Haidermota’s son, Khozem Haidermota, joined the Firm in 1992 and extensively contributed to the growth of the Firm’s corporate practice. Before long, HMCO became and remains today one of the premier law firms in Pakistan.
